Plastic bags in the online purchase

In Mercadona we are committed with the environrment and, for this reason, in the delivery of the new online shopping we use the lowest possible number  of bags:

• We want to respect the environment while guaranteeing the good status of the products. An example of this is that we use the same bag for fruits and vegetables as far as possible.
• We use bags from recycled plastic and compostable bags for fresh products.
• We facilitate their reusing: Avoiding tying the bags.
• Picking and recycling service: in the next order that we bring you, you can give the unwanted plastic bags of the purchase to the delivery man. We pick up the shopping bags in the following delivery so that the delivery man can be in time to the deliveries of the rest of the customers. We will manage the recycling and re-use of those bags.
